Jetro and Restaurant Depot have been offering members Savings, Selection and Service from trusted brands for over 40 years.  The safety and well-being of both our members and associates is a primary concern given the recent outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).  We wanted to share our plans with you.


We have contacted the CDC and the World Health Organization for a list of best practices.  As a result, we are taking the following steps in our warehouses:

  • Increasing the cleaning of frequent touchpoints, including freezer doors, registers and pin pads at the point of checkout.
  • Encouraging frequent and effective handwashing.
  • Reminding members and associates to practice safe distance.
  • Temporarily closing the coffee stations.
  • Providing sanitizer at Reception so that customers can wipe down carts as they enter the warehouse.
  • Temporarily removing the loaner refrigeration jackets.
  • Evaluating our product demo program.

All associates and members should continue to practice personal hygiene and general food safety practices at home and work.  We will remind our associates that they should stay home if they or someone in their household is showing signs of illness or has a fever.


This inventory shortage compounded by panic buying has put stress on most of us. Lack of supply puts everyone in a difficult situation, so we are doing everything we can to push our suppliers to get us back to levels that can support demand.


We understand the concerns of our members impacted by the virus.  If you are unable to come to one of our warehouses, there are options available.  Most of our items can be purchased online for delivery through our partnership with Instacart(not yet available in California but coming soon).  Some warehouses offer click & pick-up service, and most can put you in touch with local delivery services.  You can find contact information for your local branch on our website here or ask the manager if you are in one of our stores.

These can be challenging times, and together we can make it through.  We are committed to doing our best to help you through with Savings, Selection and Service, Seven days a week.    We wish you, your families and the USA a speedy recovery from this threat.
